Do you work with students who struggle with self-regulation? These 6 lesson plans for individual counseling will help kids better understand and manage their feelings.
The activities and discussion questions will:
- Teach kids to recognize their feelings
- Help kids learn about and practice mindfulness and deep breathing strategies.
- Help kids learn how their thoughts affect their feelings and behaviors
- Help kids develop positive coping skills
Please note that this was designed to be used as 6 consecutive sessions, but the materials can also be easily adapted for use as stand-alone lessons.
