These kindness and empathy read aloud activities for the book Hey, Little Ant are the perfect way to teach your students about how to treat others.

Students will learn not to "SQUISH" others. This acronym stands for:

• Start or spread rumors

• Quit including others

• Use mean words

• Ignore someone on purpose

• Say threatening things

• Humiliate others
